Make up classes are incouraged but they must be taken during
the same session.
Classes need a minimum of 4 students paid in full to continue.

Marie has, besides performing,
been teaching dance from an early age. She loves to share
her knowledge and inspire other people. Currently she teaches
at Santa Monica Dance Studio (SMDS) and loves it. The connection
to the studio started as Marie worked and performed in Germany.
At that time, the German gossip papers, referred to her as
a Musical Diva (even though she is only a diva in training).
She has performed in "Cats," "Cabaret, "A
Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, "Grease" and
"Freak Out."
Marie's roommate in Germany is a very good friend of SMDS's
founder Benedicte Schoyen.When Marie and her roommate Geri
Copy went to LA on vacation, they of course spent time with
Benedicte. After working at the Thalia Theatre and on world
tour in Robert Wilson's "Time Rocker," She
now teaches children and adults at SMDS. For class schedules,
